Eli Mwenda, a lifestyle, menswear and travel content creator forced to delete Bolt Taxi Ad from his Gram Feed after being called out for promoting a brand that is allegedly ‘unbothered’ of the multiple safety concerns raised by thousands of users countrywide.
The ride hailing app has for at least a year faced fierce criticism of unresolved cases of theft, hostile drivers and assaults, the most recent public case being an abduction incident of two girls in Westlands linked to the taxi service.

A rider argues that the amount displayed wasn’t gonna be the final amount and that there were extra charges and doesn’t go ahead to say how much. My sister goes ahead to cancel the ride,books another and the first guy forcefully shows up alongside the other one. He refuses to leave and takes the bike key from the later reason eti ametolewa kwa line lazima alipwe. @bolt_kenya is such a pain in the ass. Please tell everyone to avoid this bolt if they value their safety
